Art Education

While studying Art Education at the University of Georgia, Grace explored an array of media and topics with students aged 4 - 18. She created educational curricula that ensures student freedom in artistic expression combined with instruction on traditional techniques and art history. She believes true learning extends from interdisciplinary connections between an individual’s personal experience and the new information. Art Educators have the opportunity to identify disconnects within humanity, allowing them to build bridges between the gaps. The impacts of these metaphorical bridges create spaces where students are able to find connections by making their own discoveries.
